The contact stated while driving at 10 MPH and making a right turn to enter a parking lot, the vehicle behind failed to see the contact's turning signal and brake lights therefore did not slow down resulting in the contact being rear-ended. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and turned off without the key in the ignition, her daughter bumped into the gear shift selector and inadvertently shifted the vehicle into reverse. As a result, the vehicle began to roll, coming to a complete stop after colliding with another parked vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure.
Wireless charger built into center console malfunctioned and wires melted causing smoke to fill the car, armrest felt hot to touch.
My wife called me and said she could smell gasoline in our 2015 suburban. I went to the store she was located at and it smelled like raw gasoline. I called a tow truck company and to haul our suburban to the shop. The fuel line has been rubbing against the vehicle frame and rubbed a hole in it. On August 21, 2021 My Daughter [XXX], husband [XXX] and myself was in a car accident on the 495 beltway in PG County, Maryland. BRAKES FAILED IN A DRIVE THROUGH LINE. SAME ISSUE AS THE RECALL. SUBURBAN HAD THE CORRECTED SOFTWARE UPDATE AND YET IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THIS TIME IT LEAD TO A CRASH REAR ENDING A VEHICLE. NOT ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. GM HAS KNOW ABOUT THIS AND THE FIX DIDNÂT WORK. THIS IS NEGLIGENCE ON THEIR PART.

FINALLY CAR STARTED, DROVE IT TO DEALER, THEY SAID IT WAS A LOOSE GROUND CABLE & TIGHTENED CONNECTION. 3 MONTHS LATER VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE IN MOTION GOING 25MPH ON STREET. BURNED CABLES COMING OFF BATTERY TERMINAL. GM CEASED INVESTIGATION DUE TO THE BATTERY IN VEHICLE WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BATTERY.

A KNOWEN ISSUE WITH THE SUBURBAN- DEAD LIFTERS, OFTEN THE DEALERSHIPS DON'T WANT TO REPAIR THE ENGINE, THEY TELL CUSTOMERS TO GET A NEW OR REBUILD ENGINE. THE ISSUE IS A HIDDEN SECRET WHICH I HOPE WITH THIS COMPLAINT GM WILL COME CLEAN AND RECALL MILLION OF CARS ON THE ROAD WITH THIS DEFECT.
POWER STEERING FAILED DURING TURN AROUND ON A COUNTY ROAD, CAUSING MY VEHICLE TO GO INTO A DITCH, WHICH DAMAGED THE FRONT END OF VEHICLE. THE RECALL UPDATE DID NOT FIX THE VEHICLE ISSUE.
