Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability.

NHTSA currently has 57 investigation files overlapping the 1994 P30, and 2 remain open. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. 1994 DOLPHIN MOTOR HOME ON CHEVY P-32032 CHASSI WITH AUTO PARKING BRAKE. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS PARKING BRAKE AND HAVE READ ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS BRAKE SYSTEM AND THE CALL FOR A RECALL ON THIS SYSTEM. THIS SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME, STORYS OF THE PARKING BRAKE COMING ON AT 60 MPH OTHERS OF THE BRAKE NOT WORKING WHEN PARKED. I UNDERSTAND THERE WAS A RECALL OF THIS CHASSI & BRAKE PROBLEM WITH SOME COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, IF THIS IS THE CASE HOW ABOUT A RECAL ON THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS AND POSSIBLE MILLIONS OF MOTOR HOMES THAT USE THIS CHASSI AND EMERGENCY BRAKE SYSTEM. PLEASE HELP US GET A RECALL GOING ON THIS PROBLEM. I JUST PURCHASED THIS MOROTHOME AND THE MANUAL FOOT OPERATED BRAKE PART OF THE SYSTEM GOES TO THE FLOOR AND DOES NOT DO ANYTHING, I AM AT THE MOMENT CHECKING ON HOW TO ADJUST THIS. WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS I HAVE HEARD OF ON THE INTERNET I AM SCARED TO DEATH THIS SYSTEM WILL COME ON AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. A PROBLEM LIKE THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED LON

CHEVROLET P-30 MOTOR HOME - FAILURE OF AUTOMATIC PARKING BRAKE. LOSS OF SYSTEM PRESSURE CAUSED SUDDEN LOCK UP OF REAR WHEELS. SINCE ORIGINAL FAILURE OF PRESSURE MAINTENANCE SWITCH (LEAK) I CARRY A SPARE WITH ME AT ALL TIMES. SWITCH HAS FAILED THREE TIMES. THE ACTUATION SWITCH LOCATED NEAR THE BASE OF THE STEERING COLUMN FAILED ONCE AND ALSO CAUSED DRIVE LINE LOCKUP (THIS OCCURRED ON AN INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE BETWEEN CANADA AND THE US CAUSING ME TO BLOCK TRAFFIC FOR CONSIDERABLE TIME). FORTUNATELY, NONE OF THE FAILURES OCCURRED UNDER CONDITIONS WHERE THE SUDDEN STOP RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT. *LA
