POSSIBLE TAKATA AIR BAG MALFUNCTION, DRIVER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WHEN I WENT TO PLACE TRANSMISSION IN REVERSE TO BACK THE CAR FROM DRIVEWAY. I HAD NOT MOVED WHEN AIR BAGS DEPLOYED CAUSING SHOULDER AND NECK INJURIES TO OCCUR. THE ESCAPING GAS FROM THE AIR BAG BURNT THE HAIR OFF OF THE LEFT FOREARM.
