TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET COLORADO. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND MAKING TURNS, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE CONTACT HAD TO POWER OFF THE ENGINE MULTIPLE TIMES TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROBERTS ROBINSON CHEVROLET BUICK GMC (LOCATED AT 1501 KEARNEY RD, EXCELSIOR SPRING, MO 64024, (888) 510-8172) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V054000 (STEERING). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
