TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 1994 CHEVROLET CAVALIER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. THE DRIVER BECAME INVOLVED IN A CRASH IN WHICH THE VEHICLE ROLLED OVER SIX TIMES. THE DRIVER WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW. THE POLICE REPORTED TO THE SCENE AND A REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE WAS FATALLY INJURED. THE POLICE OFFICER STATED THERE WAS NO PIN IN THE SEAT BELT THAT PROPERLY SECURED IT TO THE BODY

AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY WHEN TRYING TO MAKE A TURN AT EXCESSIVE SPEED. WHEN CONSUMER CUT WHEEL VEHICLE IMPACTED A TELEPHONE POLE ON RIGHT FRONT PART OF THE VEHICLE AT APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 55 MPH. TELEPHONE POLE SPLIT AND CAUSED WIRES TO FALL. UNKNOWN IF THE WIRES WERE ON CAR.*AK CONSUMER STATES WIRES WERE NOT ON VEHICLE. *JB
I COULD NOT STOP THE CAR, AND HITTED THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME, IT WAS RAINING AT THE TIME WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED. I NOTICED THERE IS A RECALL FOR GM SUV, MINI VAN AND PICKUP. I BELIEVE IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM.

WHEN VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER IN THE CAVALIER WAS GOING ABOUT 60 MPH. THE OTHER VEHICLE WAS MAKING AN ILLEGAL TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALLED. *AK
ABS PROBLEMS; WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES ON WET ROAD CONDITIONS THERE IS NO BRAKING ACTION, AND THE VEHICLE DOES NOT STOP IN TIME. CONSUMER STATES WHILE GOING ABOUT 15 MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A SIDE IMPACT COLLISION. UPON IMPACT THE SEATBELT ON BOTH THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE WENT FORWARD AND DID NOT LOCK. OWNER WAS HOSPITALIZED. MANF. NOT CONTACTED
