General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2017-2021 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles. The plastic "Camaro" emblem, located on the steering wheel air bag cover, may separate during deployment of the frontal driver air bag.
Transmission Failures.The issue initially presented as intermittent trasmision shuddering, hesitation during accelaration, harsh and delayed shifting, and noticeable vibration, particularly at low speeds and during gear changes. These symptms progressively worsened over time and affected drivability and safty. Prior the failure, there were no warning lights or dashboard messages displayed. Based on professional diagnosis, they are consistent with internal transmission defects commonly reported for this model.(GM's-8 speed automatic transmition 8L45/8L90)Technical Service Bulletins TSB18-NA-335 and TSB16-NA-175. Chevrolet has denied reimbursement. The repairs performed to date have only provided temporary remedy, the issue remains ongoing and consistent with the known defects associated with the transmission.
I have noticed that my car is shuttering/vibrating. I feel it in the steering wheel/gas pedal to my seat. It starts at 35mph plus and at different speed intervals. I either have to decelerate or accelerate to get it to quit. My neighbor who is a mechanic at Maserati/Porsche dealer road with me to verify and also pulled up codes. None were set off. He researched complaints of same issues. Possible fixes could be from changing transmission fluid/flushes/torque converter replacement. Apparently a common issue problems reported. Under 80gs on odometer. Another reported high issue I had to take care myself. Was the back window coming unglued to top. The recalled 17s and 18s due to glue defects. I contacted GM/Chevy and the only thing they are willing to do is give me 230$ which doesn't even put a dent in the charge of a real fix.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal rumbling sound coming from the front of the vehicle. The contact stated that it felt like the front end of the vehicle was out of alignment. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact believed that there was a misfire coming from the engine. The failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact was informed that the front-end was properly aligned. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. While a friend was driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a misfire in the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with torque converter failure. The contact was informed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Transmission failed and need to be replaced at about 60,300 miles, just after the warranty expired. Told by the dealership multiple times the hard downshifts and odd shift patterns were normal and not an issue. Turns out it was the transmission valve body failing, causing the entire transmission to fail. Components are not available for inspection. I was able to limp the car home and to the dealership as failure was mainly slippage. There were no warning lights. The transmission was serviced in at approx. 25,000 miles and wiring harness replaced.
Rear window glass in convertible top became delaminated from seal at all corners. Glass rattled when windows were down like it was going to blow off the car. This is a safety issue as the glass may fly off the car. The dealership said they will not warranty the top past 36,000 miles. This is third third top installed on this car. This defect occurs after about 1 1/2 to 2 years before a new one is needed.
When i press the gas the car transmission is jerking.
While driving with Cruise control on doing 70MPH (+\- 5mph) the car was in fuel management mode so only 4 of the 8 cylinders were in use. When going on an uphill incline the car cycled to V8. Instantly, I had a loss of power for a second and then the entire engine locked up in the middle of moderate traffic. Providing maintenance log to show that it wasnât a lack of maintenance
Started driving down the highway and the parking brake engaged while I was going seventy miles an hour on the freeway. I felt resistance For the rest of my trip. I got to destination one.Couldn't get the parking break to disengage.And I had to drive at home like that. Unhooked to the battery cable and the parking brake disengaged for a moment.Next time I started the car , the parking brake on again and when I put it in reverse , it disengaged. Then it came on. Again. Took it to The shop and got an error code. It was really frightening driving down the highway and feeling the parking brake engage.And then feeling resistance with the car ERROR CODE C0293 08

Was stoped at a stop sign. When I tried to accelerate the car acted like it didnât want to go and the back wheels locked up causing a screeching noise. Before coming to the stop sign it felt like it was having a shuddering affect. Luckily there was no traffic and it finally shifted out but wouldnât accelerate very well. I was able to make it home and the Check engine is now on. It was definitely scary experience and now Iâm kinda afraid to drive it. This car is low mileage (less than 50k) and a daily driver.
I am reporting an issue with my 2019 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT RS involving a faulty torque converter. The vehicle began showing symptoms consistent with transmission shuddering and performance issues. After diagnostic evaluation at a certified Chevrolet dealership, I was informed the torque converter needs to be replaced and the transmission fluid flushed. Upon researching, I found that this problem is covered under a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) issued by GM for this specific model and year, indicating it's a known issue. However, my vehicle is now out of warranty, and GM has not issued a recall despite the safety and drivability concerns. I believe this defect should be investigated further, as it poses a risk to vehicle performance and potentially driver safety.

The car warning system states Place Car in Park when car is in park. Cannot turn override this system. Have to wiggle the gear shift until it recognizes it is in park. This seems to be an issue with some GM products.
Cooling Temperature Sensor not working. Car Temp Gage stuck at C, fan always running. This has happened a couple time before My Chevy mechanic on South Orange Blossom Trail say he gets a lot of Camaros with same problem. Asked me to report so there may finally be a recall on this model. When I look up on Google i get this..... "A common issue with a 2019 Chevy Camaro convertible 6-cylinder experiencing problems with the temperature gauge is a faulty coolant temperature sensor, which can lead to inaccurate readings on the gauge, often showing a consistently cold temperature even when the engine is warmed up; this can be caused by a faulty sensor itself, a loose connection, or a damaged wire. " If you look at some threads, many are complaing about same thing
