THE INNER DOOR HANDLE BROKE WITHOUT WARNING AND THE OUTER HANDLE WOULD NOT RELEASE THE OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM. AS A RESULT THE CONSUMER HAD TO CRAWL OVER THE CENTER CONSOLE AND EXIT THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. THE WAS THE SECOND HANDLE THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED. I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER, LAKESIDE CHEVY, SPOKE WITH GARY AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, FOUND OUT MY TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN THROUGH THE RECALL AND HE FAILED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS RECALL, SAYING THAT I HAD TO PAY $95.00 APPROX., TO GET IT FIXED. I'D LIKE TO ASK FOR YOUR HELP DETERMINING IF THIS NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND IF SUCH, WHERE I NEED TO TAKE IT. THANKS. DT
