TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 CHEVROLET BLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO AN EMBANKMENT. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE SPINE, A WHIPLASH, AND A CONCUSSION WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 298,430.

I HAVE HAD EXTREME BRAKING PROBLEMS THAT ARE STILL NOT FIXED. UNDER NORMAL CITY DRIVING CONDITIONS, BRAKES ARE VERY SLOW TO STOP REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH PRESSURE I PUT ON THEM AND OCCASIONALLY LOCK UP. I MUST RELEASE THE BRAKE PEDAL AND PUMP IT TO CATCH SO THE CAR WILL COME TO A STOP. 2 MONTHS AGO, A WOMAN STOPPED AT THE LAST MINUTE IN FRONT OF ME. I HIT MY BRAKES WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH ROOM TO STOP (2-3 CAR LENGTHS). THEY LOCKED UP AND MADE THEIR NORMAL GRINDING NOISE. I HIT HER CAR CAUSING DAMAG

THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. TRANSMISSION FLUID HAD GONE INTO THE TRANSFER CASE WHEN THE SEAL WAS NO GOOD THEN HAD GONE INTO THE VENT TUBE WAS DESIGNED, AND PLACED OVER THE HOT MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST SYSTEM WHICH CAUSED THE FIRE. *SC
