The contact stated that the fire had completely burned the engine. When the police and fire department arrived, the fire department extinguished the fire. Police and fire department reports were filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard but was not deemed totaled by the insurance company. The contact stated that prior to the fire, the vehicle was leaking oil onto the ground and lost motive power while driving uphill. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
