WHILE DRIVING WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE STARTED STEERING ITSELF. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE ABS LOCKED UP. THE CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND IMPACTED A GUARD RAIL. *AK THE VEHICLE SPUN AROUND AND BACKED INTO THE GUARD RAIL. THE VEHICLE THEN TURNED AROUND AND FACED THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE AIR BAG(S) DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE SEAT BELTS DID NOT RESTRAIN THE CONSUMER. *SCC *JB

I RETURNED TO TUFFY'S FIVE (5) TIMES, THE LAST BEING ON OR ABOUT JANUARY 20, 2003. AT THIS TIME, MR JIM JANICEK, THE DISTRICT MANAGER FOR TUFFY'S WAS PRESENT. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON, SHORTLY AFTER THAT THE DRIVERS AIR BAG DEPLOYED, CAUSING CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL OF VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE ENDED UP IN A DITCH, AFTER THE ACCIDENT, CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE ON THE AIRBAG, CONSUMER SUFFERED A DAMAGED LUNG, AND HER CHEST WAS CAVED IN.*JG *AK
WHILE DRIVING BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND BRAKES FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. AFTER CAR WAS TOWED TO A BODY SHOP, SHOP PERSONNEL SAID BRAKES WERE WORKING FINE. INSURANCE COMPANY SENT APPRAISER TO CHECK CAR AND HE SAID THE BRAKES "FAILED A COUPLE MORE TIMES" WHILE HE WAS TRYING THEM. TOWED CAR TO BUICK DEALER. DEALER INSPECTED BRAKES AND SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THEM. WE TRADED CAR IN TO THE DEALER.*AK
