Software Bugs result is constant loss of 'favorites' which require more attention being placed on the interface while driving to do basic tasks. A safety update released by Audi ( TSB (2062266)) but did nothing to fix the issue. This is a serious safety hazard that should be fixed.
Car alerted us to an electrical malfunction then advise us the car was shutting down and find a place to pull over immediately. Turns out that this was an alternator failure that is very common for this car. Audi and the dealership were aware of the issue but instead of proactively fixing the problem they let me get stranded on the side of a busy highway for 90 minutes while I waited for a tow truck. They should not be allowed to play Russian roulette with us driving cars with very dangerous
I was driving my Audi on the Interstate with my husband and daughter in the vehicle when the tire blew making a loud boom. I gripped the wheel as we almost flipped the vehicle driving off the road.
I was accelerating on the on ramp on to a major freeway (65mph limit) to merge on to traffic. As I was crossing into the left lane the car suddenly went into an electrical malfunction. All warning lights came on and I was limited to under 2k rpm when pressing on the accelerator pedal. I was forced to coast off to the right shoulder amidst heavy traffic. This was extremely dangerous as i had no power to continue moving except for the speed I had accelerated to and thankfully had enough speed
