Repair (component replacement) performed under Audi recall 27BQ (or 27BQ_DLR_LAUNCH) for faulty starter-alternator that can cause immediate catastrophic failure of all electrical systems affecting powertrain, steering, suspension, safety features, and emissions equipment has failed after 12 months and 2,516 miles. The replacement component suffers from the same catastrophic failure.
