DT: WHILE TOWING A FIFTH WHEEL, AND AFTER LESS THAN 10,000 MILES ON FOUR OF THE 80 PSI FIRESTONE TIRES ALL COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM THEIR TREAD. THREE OF THE TIRES STAYED INFLATED AFTER THE SEPARATION, BUT THE FOURTH BLEW OUT AT THE TIME OF SEPARATION. ON THE FIRST INSTANCE THE DEALER SAID THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE, AND ADVISED CONSUMER TO CHECK ALL THE TIRES WITH THAT VIN. *AK TIRE MERCHANT REFUSED TO GIVE ANY ASSISTANCE. *TT

FIRESTONE WAS NOTIFIED. *AK THE TREAD DID SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE TRAILER, ANOTHER TIRE EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT WHILE DRIVING JUST 300 MILES LATER AND CONSUMER DECIDED TO REPLACE THE TIRES, ANOTHER TIRES TREAD HAD SEPARATED COMPLETELY AROUND THE TIRE, CONSUMER IS REQUESTING THAT HIS DEDUCTIBLE, THE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE TWO TIRES SHIPPED, AND HELP WITH THE COST OF NEW TIRES, STEELTEX RADIAL R4S II. *SLC

REPLACEMENT WAS DONE AT NO COST. $1200 WERE RECEIVED ON BOTH INCIDENTS. *AK THERE WAS DAMAGE OF $1200 TO THE TRAILER DUE TO THE FIRESTONE TIRE INCIDENT. *YH

CONSUMER NOTED 3 OF THE TIRES WERE REPLACED DUE TO A TIRE GOING COMPLETELY FLAT FOR NO APPARENT REASON, INNER CORD SEPARATING, ALSO, BUBBLES FORMED ON THE OUTER SIDE OF SIDEWALL/ WHEN DRIVING TREAD CAME COMPLETELY OFF THE TIRE, TIRE STAYED INFLATED, AND WHEN DRIVING TREAD CAME OFF THE TIRE, TIRE BLEWOUT COMPLETELY, DAMAGING THE UNDER BODY OF TRAILER. BLOWOUT WAS ON DRIVER'S SIDE REAR, PASSENGER SIDE FRONT, DOOR SIDE REAR, AND THE DRIVER SIDE. *AK
