SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and 2020-2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles. Hard braking may cause the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) rotor shaft to separate, a reduction of braking assist, and a loss of ABS.

While pulling out, vehicle decelerated as I was pressing the gas. Almost hit by another vehicle. Managed to avoid being hit and car still would not accelerate. Ultimately, pulling over at store and parking. Contacted manufacter because it was related to the recall, but they wasnt able to do anything about it. Im unable to drive it and im still paying for it. no remedies were offered

My car stopped and would not turn back on while in the middle lane of a busy highway. We were stopped on the highway >20min until police arrived to block the lanes so we could safely exit the vehicle and a tow truck could safely retrieve it.
