WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY REAR TIRE CAME OFF THE RIM. WHEN THIS OCCURRED CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE CAUSE OF THE TIRE BLOWOUT WAS UNDETERMINED. *AK

CAR-1992 ACURA LEDGEND UNCONTROLLED ACCELERATION. WHILE DRIVING THE GAS PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND HELD AT THAT POSITION. THE CAR HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION SO I RELEACED THE CLUTCH AND SENT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. THE GAS PEDAL DID NOT RETURN TO THE UP POSSISSION EVEN WITH THE CAR OFF.. I STARTED THE CAR BUT THE GAS PEDAL REMAINED DOWN AND THE ENGINE RACED. I IMMEADIANTLY TURNEDTHE CAR OFF. AGAIN I TRYED BT THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I TURNED THE CAR OFF IMMEDIANTLY AND THEN THE GAS PEDDLE RETURNED TO NOMAL. THIS HAPPENED THE PREVIOUS DAY WHEN I STARTED THE CAR BUT I THOUGHT I WAS ONLY JUST PRIOR TO THIS I HAD PROBLEM I HAD CLEANED THE BATTERY TEMINALS OTHERWISE THE CAR HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS.
