Investigation Summary

HOLIDAY RAMBLER ADMITS THAT THEY INADVERTENTLY POSITION THE FUEL RELAY IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE ENGINE. THIS WAS DISCOVERED AFTER REVIEWING CHASSIS BUILDER INFORMATION AND NOT THE RESULT OF COMPLAINTS. HOLIDAY RAMBLER PURPORTS THAT THEIR RECORDS INDICATE MOST OF THE MOTOR HOMES AFFECTED MAY STILL BE AT THEIR DEALERS. THIS WOULD ACCOUNT FOR THE ABSENCE OF COMPLAINTS OR WARRANTY CLAIMS. HOLIDAY RAMBLER WILL CONDUCT A SAFETY RECALL TO RELOCATE THE FUEL RELAY TO THE FRAME STRUT OF THE FIREWALL. THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED.
