This investigation was opened based on three Vehicle Owner's Questionnaire reports alleging smoke and fire occurred inside of the driver's door. The complainants reported that the master power window switch and, in some cases its wiring harness, had sustained heat related damage and required replacement. Since opening the investigation the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received two additional reports.
