Complaint Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F550. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 40 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FUEL FILTER, INJECTORS AND FUEL PUMP WERE CLOGGED BECAUSE OF DELAMINATION INSIDE THE FUEL TANK. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY COULD OFFER NO ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIR COSTS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 102,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 106,000.
