The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKX. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 20V469000 (SERVICE BRAKES, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC) and 25V544000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while approaching a traffic light, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond in a timely manner. The vehicle then slowed down and stopped; however, the contact stated that added force was used to depress the brake pedal. No warning light was illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown.
