Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Prius Prime. The contact stated that occasionally the liftgate opened independently. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that there was a crack on the power liftgate plastic trim. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that the failure was not attributed to defects from the factory.
