The contact owns a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE350. The contact stated that after exiting the vehicle, the doors unintendedly locked with the keys inside the vehicle. Additionally, the contactâs child was still inside the vehicle during the failure. The contact stated that the doors were not supposed to lock with the keys inside. The contact called a locksmith to have the vehicle unlocked. The vehicle was not taken to a local dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
