Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 - 70 MPH, there was a message that the driverâs side front headlight sensor had failed. The vehicle was taken to a body shop where the contact was informed that the driverâs and passengerâs side bumper bracket clips had slightly detached and was protruding outwardly at high speeds. The contact was able to push the clips and bumpers inwardly; however, the bumper and the clips failed to remain secured. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 58,900.
