Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel was inadvertently pulling to the right. The contact stated that excessive force was needed to turn the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the rack and pinion needed to be replaced; however, the replacement part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
