Because a VIN was supplied, this complaint is tied to a specific vehicle and not just a model-year cohort.

Individual complaints are consumer-submitted and unverified by NHTSA engineers — the agency's role at this stage is to collect, index, and make them searchable. What matters for federal action is the pattern: when many owners of the same NISSAN ROGUE cohort independently describe similar exterior lighting:headlights:concealment devices failures, defect investigators have grounds to open a PE and request manufacturer data. Complaint Description

Nisan 2014 Rogue headlight covers are cloudy and get cloudier daily. It is in the factory plastic cover. I need to know if there is a recall on this problem because an owner can't afford to pay to have the whole front taken off to correct a problem with the car make. Please forward this to whoever can solve this headlight problem before an accident.
