Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle drove over a bump in the road and the air bag warning lights illuminated. The contact then stated that the front driverâs side seat belt made a beeping sound. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was advised to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000
