Complaint Description
The contact owns a 2017 Honda accord. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH and changing lines, while attempting to accelerate, the vehicle hesitated and lost motive power. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that a valve adjustment was needed. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the fuel injectors were working as designed. The contact stated the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V060000 (Fuel System, Other) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 106,000.
