Complaint Description

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the driver’s side sun visor would independently lower, causing a visibility hazard. The contact initially spoke with the dealer who referred him to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was then notified and referred him to NHTSA to report a safety complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000. The consumer stated the vehicle was serviced and sun visor was replaced on Aug. 30, 2022.
