Complaint Description

The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact that while starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle lost power and would not immediately restart. The vehicle restarted after waiting for a while. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (Electrical System) which he associated with the failure. The local dealer was contacted but was unable to schedule the recall repair due to the parts not being available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
