The contact's parents own a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed the vehicle stalled with the service engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was slow to restart. The contact stated that when the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle hesitated to respond.
