Complaint Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED TO FUNCTION DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER. THE DEALER (OPEN ROAD CHEVROLET, 2675 US-22, UNION, NJ 07083, (908) 686-2800) DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIPER TRANSMISSION FAILED TO FUNCTION. THE DEALER REPLACED THE PART. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND SUGGESTED THAT THE DEALER DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED THIS WIPER TRANSMISSION IS UNDER RECALL IN CANADA, WHERE MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED. UPDATED 10/17/18*JB
