TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MAZDA RX-8. WHEN THE IGNITION WAS STARTED AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS APPLIED, THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS ACTIVATED AND THE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY BRACKET SNAPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
